The Amerec AK18 is engineered for home and day spa steam baths up to 700 adjusted cubic feet (ACF).
The Amerec AK18 is made up of dual generators in tandem (two 9kW generators). Each generator features a durable stainless-steel tank, professional-grade heating elements, water level control system, durable electronic components and parts, and several other innovative components.
Amerec AK Series steam generators are engineered for performance and reliability. Equipped with the latest technology, the AK18 steam shower generator produces steam quickly, safely, and efficiently. The AK18 uses a Sequential Temperature Control to ensure a consistent, even flow of soft steam without temperature variations.
The Amerec AK18 steamer’s stainless steel tank and water level probes provide long-lasting strength and durability. The unit includes removable heating elements for easy and economical service.
The compact Amerec AK18 steam shower unit installs conveniently out of sight in closets, vanities, and other similar locations.
The Amerec AK18 18kW steam generator is available in 240V or 208V and can be field wired for single-phase or three-phase configurations.

Amerec AK Series steam generators have the flexibility to be linked in tandem to accommodate steam shower enclosures larger than 700 adjusted cubic feet. Connection cables are sold separately, and each generator requires a ComfortFlo steam head.
We recommend Amerec’s Automatic Drain System for each steam generator with your AK18 steam unit which drains each steam generator tank after each use to help prevent calcification and lime build-up.
The Amerec AK18 steam bath generator is fully serviceable and carries a limited lifetime warranty. The AK18 generator is UL, CSA, and CSE listed to ensure your safety.
